David’s new video turns thousands of located 7-Eleven stores into an animated route across Thailand. The published description names Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya and Hua Hin among the places covered. He is clear that the project did not locate every store, so the map is a way to explore the scale of the network rather than a complete route to every location. The video was published September 30, 2026.
What the map does and does not answer
The channel description says the team mapped thousands of locations and animated a journey from store to store. It does not give a final verified store count, route length or travel time. Watch the embedded video for the animation and David’s presentation; the available description alone does not support a claim that someone could drive the whole route in a particular number of days.
A route drawn between mapped points also differs from a real trip. Store locations can change, and a journey would involve road access, opening hours, breaks and detours. Treat the video’s route as a creative thought experiment, with its incomplete inventory stated up front.
If you wanted to turn the idea into a road trip
Start with one region or a manageable stretch rather than trying to copy a countrywide animation. Check each stop’s current location and access, then plan driving time on actual roads. Allow time for fuel, meals, rest and changing conditions; a line on a map is only the beginning of an itinerary.
Keep the purpose of the trip in mind. A store count would reward speed, while a journey through Thailand can leave room for local food, markets and places between stops. These are editorial planning questions, not a report of David completing the proposed drive.
Compare a real stretch of road
David’s Hua Hin to Ranong road-trip episode describes actual stops for local food and scenery, and the companion guide helps turn that corridor into a trip plan. Kim’s Pansook family outing shows one possible pause along Phet Kasem Road near Hua Hin. Those are separate documented outings that put human-scale stops beside the countrywide map; neither verifies the 7-Eleven route or its travel time.
